Framed Snowmen & Snowgals...

There's no business like snow~business!
We have the snow brushes in the car...
Shovels at each door...

Lawnmower pushed to the back of the garage...
Snow blower to the front...

Birdseed bins are full...
Pile of suet cakes...

Saw folks putting up their Christmas lights today...
Two beautiful, warm, sunny November days~

Wee little Cardinal...
This little friend isn't in any hurry for snow!

My mom would make snowmen with our son Will~

He liked putting heavy coats on them~
Not to keep them warm... but to keep the cold air in!

No hurry for snow fall~
Prepared...
Dreading... I mean, it will be fun when it arrives!
(I prefer to paint snow rather than shovel!)

These framed original watercolors and more are going to be
in my Etsy store tonight...
This week I will be adding oodles of winter friends.
Small fabric pieces, vintage linens etc.
"It's the most wonderful time~ of the year..."

So many thanks to each and every Veteran!
Praying for our soldiers & families
currently serving, too~

Hope you have a great week, Sweet Friends!

Love all your sweet Snowmen/Snowgals & the adorable stories behind them, especially your son Wills idea of putting a coat on the snowman to keep the cold air in ♥

Dear Michelle - these are wonderful. Loved the tiny cardinal...we too are getting ready for winter. Had some tiny bit of snow last evening but nothing serious. Take care and thanks for sharing.

I do so love the snowmen. I collect snowmen for Christmas decorations. Never thought about doing some paintings. I adore the little Cardinal and the idea that small pictures are as effective as a big one. Very inspiring
