...and here comes butter yellow!

All the buzz... how I love bees & their homes!

While taking a break from studio orders I started planning...

Brainstorming...

Designing...

Sketching!

 

"Flow Blue..." will be my newest punch needle piece. 

I know it will have royal blue!

I know it will have sunshine yellow!

I really just wanted an excuse to paint in French Ultramarine,

Ultramarine Light and Ultramarine Deep!

I will share bits and pieces of "Flow Blue..." soon~

After working in the studio all day it is fun to play~

Punch needle is delightful!

I love the texture.

The aged feel.

Folk... prim... early... but new!

This little sparrow influenced my 'Valentine Tea'

This little chickadee influenced my 'Love Song'

This gorgeous blue floss is influencing my 'Flow Blue' design!

It would be neat to make a long rectangle...

I will keep you posted!

Valentine hearts...

 My studio is cool in the winter~

After dinner I bring projects to the living room and

cozy up beneath fuzzy blankets!

Here a stitch... there a stitch...

Muslin Valentine hearts with my pen & ink illustrations~

January has been passing quickly~

We will soon hear the hum of bees in the flowers!

Not a creature was stirring... 

Meadows filled with joyful conversations~

We woke to a blanket of wet snow Thanksgiving morning...

Every tree was dressed in white~

The gardens coated with shimmering layers!

While the pies were baking I sketched Queen Anne's Lace~
