Nola! The Orange Backs are Coming!

Hi Nola! My Texas friend...
Be watching!
We haven't seen a Monarch butterfly
dancing about for a while now...
If they didn't come out on this
hot & humid day~
We're sure they're on their journey...
We miss them dearly~ but know you'll
be enjoying their company soon!

Let us know!

Oh, Michelle, Thanks for the info, I'll be watching. I have my camera ready, and I HOPE I can get a few good shots! Wonder how long it will take them to get here? Can't wait!

Michelle, May I copy the photo of the monarch to post on my blog, and link back to this post? I'll be sure and give you credit for the photo. I want to write a post tomorrow on the monarchs' migration.

Hi Nola~
Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you...we had lost "power" because of a horrible "Ike" storm Sunday night~ we're all lit up and plugged in again. Still amazes me that in upstate NY...hurricanes from the south knock us for a loop!
Yes you can copy the monarch photo...thank you for asking! :)
Saw some Painted Ladies today...a Paper White~
I wonder if there is a site that tracks them? I'll check.
Talk soon~
Michelle
