Little Feathered Friends in Dresses...

These sweet little girls are in my Etsy store...
All dressed in little spring dresses!
I remember getting a new dress each Easter~
This little tomboy would clean up for one day each year!
Mom would dress my sister and I like twins.
(She is four years older than me)
Tall, thin... olive skin... hazel eyes...
My chubby cheeks are covered with freckles~
We're as opposite as they come!
The pictures look sweet... my oldest sister
made most of our Easter outfits.
I was always tickled to have a new stuffed bunny!
(Even more tickled when the dress was put away...)
These feathered friends seem to like
their little dresses~
Hope you like them, too!
Wishing you a wonderful week~

Oh I agree with Kathy. Bunnies or bears would look cute in the dresses, too. Also, hoping for your adorable groupings of realistic looking bunnies gathered in the field. I think everyone is ready for spring to hit . . . even here in California!

Smiles!

Michelle, Loving once again all your sweet treasures! My memories of Easter was not only the new dresses, but the bonnet and white little gloves and the lace ankle socks with new white pattenleather shoes, my mom would insist we had to have. Me and my sister hated going for those bonnets, as my mom would take great pride in finding the perfect one for us..even if it ment trying on every bonnet they had in the store, sometimes more than once, until she found the perfect one! :(

I'm kind of glad that I wasn't able to visit blogs this weekend - those "little feathered friends" would have been so tempting! Love the sweet dresses!

We used to get new dresses for Easter too ~ and shoes & purses too! What fun!

Adorable little birdies in their dresses, but I really think the one on the bottom right is looking a might rebellious (perhaps she's a little bit like you were?)

Mmmhmm-I felt the same about having to wear a dress-but I loved having a 'special' dress for Easter, and made by Grandma, who made a little umbrella and pocket book to match! Heaven!
Your art is so lovely...
(are you as ready for Spring as I am?)
Love, Debra
