Happy Valentine's Day!

Hearts give us warm fuzzy's...
Love shared...

I have several ways of storing my vintage Valentines~
These three recycled Dove chocolate tins hold one collection!

I slide these vintage love notes in the corners of mirrors...
I lean them against chalk boards...
Tuck them in frame corners...

Blue and Forget Me Nots are some of my favorites~

This art style is simple... beautiful!

Toss in some veggie messages...
For those of us who choose chocolate all day!

Handsome hearts...

Beautiful borders...

That little man is wondering where that heart boat came from!
Keeping his little arms behind his back...
"I'm not touchin' it!"

Sharing friendship and wishes for a day filled with love!
~Happy Valentine's Day~

Studio Storage Favorites...

In keeping with my promise to share little tidbits of my studio...
and with the missing chill of the wintry "Jack-Frost" himself...

One of my favorite stack-able storage solutions!
~Wear-Ever aluminum Jack-Frosters~

These vintage containers are not as air tight as my plastic trays...
Natural treasures that I find on my walks are saved here.
The contents dry & stay preserved without becoming musty.

Drift wood and cones from Lake Ontario...

This piece of drift wood looks like a duck head!

I think vintage stamps are fun!
They're fragile... so they stay safe inside my frosters~

Jack Frost will be nipping at our nose, eventually...
I miss watching our pup dance in the deep snow...
But I'm not complaining :)

Wishing you joy!

Strawberry Treasure and Glitter...

As we sorted through mounds of linens one Saturday...
Our antiquing friend, Sweet 16 and I
came across this gorgeous treasure~
She gave it to me as a birthday gift!
All hand stitched... each berry different.
If you click on the photo for a better look
you can see the highlights, seeds...
The piece has been used, loved, worn~
So delicate...
So perfect...
So treasured!

My sweet friend, Diane Knott posted about how
she stores her glitter here... so pretty!
I shared how I like the salt/pepper with the slide tops.
I store fine glitter in that piece because I
am able to slide the holes closed for a smaller opening...

The top with the round nub closes itself...
That one is nice because it will pour out in a tiny
area... only one larger hole.

Plenty of days the kids go to school with glitter
on their cheek or hands because I chose
to make a fairy dust mess somewhere in the house!
Hubby... the engineer, a dept. of men... with glitter kisses!
Oh my!

Hope your Monday is off to a great start!

Pocket Full of Sunshine...

Every walk along the Erie Canal...
Every stroll down country roads...
Hoofin' it through pastures...
Weaving through forests...

Relaxing...renewing...refilling!

The above shells are store-bought...

But the blue chips are from our gardens...
It's like finding a diamond!

Corals bits are from Buffy in FL or our
wonderful trip to NC...
Mmmmm....the ocean~

Backyard treasures...

Butterflies found on the side of the road...

We won't think of fall right now....

Boxes, bins...bits n' pieces stuffed in pockets~

Hives from a neighbors storage shed...
Feathers from the ground around the feeders...

People would come in our house & say,
"The horseshoe has to aim up!"
We'd change it...
Others came in,
"The shoe has to face down!"
Ugh...we fixed them...one of each~ :)

Sweet nests...

You can only imagine what's in these boxes...

And more....

And MORE!

Take a walk...but don't come home with empty pockets~
Hope your day is treasure-filled!
