Thank you Stocking Patterns 2021

The trees have let go of nearly all of their leaves~

Our first snow of the season was beautiful!

It's Thanksgiving~

My heart is grateful for your friendship, kindness & patronage!

My annual Thank you Pattern~

Two new stockings again this year! Two is twice the fun~

It seemed perfect to have a polar bear stocking to match my

'Polar Bear Pine' punch needle and rug hooking patterns.

I love owl silhouettes, hear their song.

When the leaves have cleared they're much easier to locate in the landscape.

The two photographs below are from our first snowfall~

Tufts of snow held gently by dried flowers, twigs and branches.

Inspiring the details around the bottom of the fencepost.

Wishing you a joyful season, Friends!
You're treasured and I appreciate each of you~

Vintage fabric yoyo's

301 of them! They are enjoying a gentle & restoring soak~

I've been enjoying antique shows & shops for 30+ years.
No matter how many shows, shops, festivals we attend~
There is always something fresh & new!

The show wasn't that big...
A high school gym & small cafeteria.
It was packed with some of the most unique and unusual antiques!

Butter paddles in bunches!
They looked like bouquets!
ONE was very unique~ it had a butter press on the handle end!!!
All one piece~
It was very rare and very expensive... inside a case or
I would have tried to capture a photograph.

We brought home a few treasures...
This collection of yoyo's was laying across a long table.
It was dressed with an antique rocking horse,
mounds of linens & table cloths,
crocks & jugs...
books...
stuff...
cool stuff...
neat stuff...
I just needed to find the price tag........

JOY!!!
They are becoming harder and harder to find~
These most treasured patterns.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday, Kind Friends!
Wishing your hearts every joy~

Painted Acorn punch needle heart

I couldn't get through the harvest season without a few
punch needle hearts!

Once I close the windows and accept that our warm days have passed~
I completely enjoy Autumn.
The colors, the harvest~
Bringing some of those colors indoors to warm heart & home!

Wishing your hearts every sweet happiness!

Flow blue needle minder

Hello, Friends!
I hope your October is off to a great start!

It is no secret that I love flow blue...
Red Rooster Fabrics designed their Flow Blue Garden collection
from my original watercolor paintings!

I have been experimenting with printing my original watercolors
onto fabric... the image stays set~ I hope to make it brighter.

My needle minder is a bit on the large size... 5" x 7"
All hand stitched as I still do not know my way around
a sewing machine~
Added some vintage china buttons!
Perfectly reminders of treasured flow blue spice jars & plate chips!

Two antique lace treasures with blue & white pins~

It is always fun to add pen & ink illustrations to my projects...
Little character!
Pocket saved from one of the kids bluejeans!

Handmade... always from the heart!

Thank you for visiting here~
Wishing your heart every happiness!

Hugs and stitches!

A few gifts to make!
Linen floss is so pretty~
Hugs go into everything handmade...

Hope you're having a creative weekend, Friends!

Americana Owls~

We have had a cool and rainy start to our summer~
The weeds are dancing in the gardens & mosquitoes are viscous.
So I stitch!
Little breaks from painting...

I made a Sweet 16 collection of Americana owls~
When the last one had its beak I think they broke out in patriotic song!
Hand sewn bodies from tea stained muslin and dressed with
vintage fabrics and trims that I have been gathering for years.

They all have big hearts... some show it on the outside~

Stars & stripes...

Ruffles and florals~

This little hat was fun!
Shabby little friends~
Rough edges to look like ruffled feathers...

The choir of owls... can you hear them singing?
Wishing you a wonderful day!

Needle Felted Hedgehogs

Little needle felted hedgehogs are all dressed for winter in their stormy sky tones!
On the back of a goose!

They don't want to dip a tiny toe in the chilly waters!

Gorgeous Wensleydale, Cotswold & Border Leicester curly locks~
In tones of the gorgeous November skies...

Just added these little ones to my Etsy shop!

Each with their own name and their own wooden (vintage spool) perch!

Pretty shades of Fall...

The clouds with a peach lining~
Within an hour or so the sky was deep purple~ steel gray~ dark plum!

Hot tea, thick blankets and movies!
Hope your day is filled with cozy, too~

Needle Felted Ducklings~

My new little needle felted friends have been busy!

Playing games...

Planning their trip to the pond~

Our kitty noses wish they could play along...

Perhaps there is a change of plans?

Contemplating........

They're in a "Pond of colors!"

Perched & bathing~

Some of my wool babies have made their way home
with duckling-loving friends!
There are three little dears listed in my Etsy shop~

I didn't have a chance to finish my new GIVEAWAY last night~
Alaina & I were at the hospital visiting my NEW great niece!
(She is precious!!!)
Will work on the treasures today!

Hope your day is off to a wonderful start~
