Seashells & Sandpipers

Hello, Sweet Friends!
Do hope you are having some sunny days at the shore~
We have been enjoying day after day of rain.
Do wish we had a way to share some with those of you praying for rains!

"Seashells & Sandpipers"
A new print available now from my 2nd Etsy Shop!
Seashells & Sandpipers was featured for June 2013 in my calendar
"Outside My Window" with Legacy Publishing Group

This is a peek at one corner of my little studio...
I have a corner cabinet that this antique cheese box sits on~
Filled with larger shells and gorgeous starfish.
I love to gather favorite things for still life studies!
Add two feathered friends...

Wishing you all the best!

Calico Scallops on my studio desk~

Full pockets...
Pull my shirt-tail out and start filling it with seaside treasures~

Treasures all saved for a cool, rainy day~
Brings me right back to the shore!

Hope your day is bright & sunny~

Original Watercolor Paintings...

Wee little watercolor paintings for the sweetest of frames!

I began working on a collection of thirty shells several weeks ago.
Some are the size of postage stamps~

Today I am finishing these little treasures~

So that I can begin painting all of the beautiful little blossoms
popping up along country roads...

Our thoughts, prayers and best wishes are with so many~
Flooding, fires... heat and strong storms.
Please be safe, Sweet Friends!
