Pinkeeps & Pincushions...

Long and narrow...
Square...
Purse size and desk size...
A new collection of pinkeeps and pincushions are coming along!

I made a collection of these for my Annual Christmas Open House 1994!
Sold in country shops before that~
We celebrated nine Christmas open houses.
I wish I had digital files or short videos to post.
History is a treasure.
The shows came before we (personally) had the ease of digital cameras.
I will scan some of my photographs and share near Christmastime.
We met the most amazing people through art festivals, retreats,
Workshops, shows & art guilds etc.
Our open house was a weekend for reunions!

I loved to design the invitations & handmade 500+ free gifts.
(Oh how they changed through the years!)
A new giveaway each year & when the gifts ran out I would have hand drawn,
printed, recipe cards to tuck inside their packages.

When I began art licensing, nearly 15 years ago, it was difficult for me to
keep up with all of the deadlines and handmade works for shows~
It was hard to say goodbye to our open house but new opportunities
kept my artwork fresh and new styles & products emerged.
Fabric collections, flags, greeting cards & calendars etc. added to handmade.

I am grateful to have a healthy balance between the two now.
The joy of having my original watercolor paintings and pen & ink works
licensed alongside handmade, one-of-a-kind treasures.

I hope to eventually offer rug hooking patterns to accompany my
punch needle patterns & embroidery designs.
Several new creative projects will be ready to share soon~

We have been researching shows and events from MA to VA!
Our daughter is an amazing artist & designer... she is ready to soar!
Never know where life will bring you~

Stay true to yourself & find your own unique style.
It will tell the story of your life~

Wedding in the meadow

Snippets from Meadow Wedding~
Sweet little Rosie Emm with her handsome groom and dear maidens.
Springtime brings the most beautiful blush-pink flowers to the meadow.
They gathered a basket of blossoms for bouquets and head wreaths~
Tucked a sprig in Jameston's coat & called upon the sparrows to sing!
(Copyright Meadow Wedding 1997 Michelle L. Palmer)

When I watch West Side Story my little friends end up planning
another wedding. My husbands sister sang One Hand, One Heart
for our vows... it will always be one of my favorites.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Friends!

Be an original~

Be an original~
Nobody deserves to be copied.
It is so much brighter when you don't walk in the shadows of another.

Hope your week is off to a great start, Friends~

Copyright Infringment

<<< ATTENTION FRIENDS >>>
The woman on Etsy that copied my title & description listings has now infringed directly on my artwork. She copied my original bunny design. ((also owls & birds)) She has drawn a rabbit that looks nearly exact to mine. That is COPYRIGHT infringement. She is breaking copyright laws. PLEASE look for the ribbon across my work that reads, 'Copyright Michelle L. Palmer" when purchasing from Etsy. All of my designs have this ribbon. You can add MY original illustrations in your quilts, sewing projects, etc. as original works of art. I would never copy another artist--- what you purchase from me is one of a kind & safe to add to your projects. It is not legal for this designs to be duplicated. That is stealing.
This breaks my heart.
This woman is trying to fool people into purchasing her art...

I'm sorry to bother you with this. It is a legal matter that is being reported...
I feel it is important to make you aware.
Thank you for your kindness & support... I will continue to bring new treasures to my shop.

I have been drawing these same little loves for many years...
They are from my heart~

The infringer has copied very closely... as to confuse the buyer.
My birds, my owls and now my bunnies.

I can't imagine waking up and thinking,
"I'm not going to be creative today..."
"Instead---- I'm going to copy Michelle's artwork!"

Can you imagine?
I wouldn't be able to hold the pen!!!

I am sorry this is happening...
How I love my blog to always be cheery and uplifting!

This infringer doesn't get me down...
I will not stop being creative!
I will always have a song in my heart~
FOR I AM HONEST and TRUE.

Please watch for my copyright ribbon when you're purchasing.
If you're looking for a Michelle L. Palmer original~
They will continue to be there!
This matter has been reported.

Hugs to each of you~
Thank you for your time~

The Copycat~

My little seahorse friends are traveling to the UK on Monday~

How I love to draw these little fabric originals~
Please let me share:
-------
There is a woman copying my artwork on fabrics.
She is using my identical wording for her titles and listing/descriptions.
Please be aware that I always write 'Copyright Michelle L. Palmer'
across my images. All of my artwork & designs are registered
with the Federal Copyright Office.
If you have any questions~ Please inbox me before purchasing.
I am based in the United States~

Thank you, Sweet Friends~ for all of your comments, visits & purchases!
More little treasures will be in my shop tomorrow~
Little treasures from MY OWN CREATIVE HEART~

The coolest part of being an artist... being unique!
One of a kind!
Don't copy what someone else is doing~
That means you are a COPYCAT.
Nothing creative about that.
Nothing artistic about that.

Stretch YOUR OWN MIND~

True artists come up with their own products.
True artists take pride in being ONE OF A KIND.
True artists want to describe their artwork through their own eyes.

It's important that we are true to ourselves~
That is where we will find joy!
That is what I LOVE to share with all of you.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
