Pen & Ink Buntings...

My pup and I saw a few cotton tails dashing away today!

They don't know how much she wants to play~

Unlike the little friends I sketch~

They're swift and not willing to hang around and build friendships!

My pup doesn't mind~

There are Spring scents around every corner!

I don't mind~

Perhaps they will relocate & leave more veggies for us~

Baby feathers are soon to arrive~

Bird songs surround us!

Little friends protecting a nest that the wind had disturbed~

Wee little baby buntings!

Don't you want to pinch their cheeks?

These will be sold in sets of three...

They can be stitched onto colorful buntings~

Pinned onto existing buntings~

Little chicks with Spring fever~

Oh the bees with happy little hearts humming along~

It has taken me a few years to feel comfortable in a hat...

Keeping the sun off my rosy cheeks has become a priority.

In another few years I'll be marching about fashioning an

enormous hat as if I had been born in one!

(giggle... let's hope)

My mom had a (nasty) beautiful climbing rose.

We would repair the trellis each Spring.

A little feathered friend always thought it the perfect home!
