Finished watercolor paintings of Lilacs~

Yesterday my studio desk was covered with empty frames & Lilacs!
Today the frames are filled with my original watercolors &
the Lilacs are in little bouquets smelling wonderful around the house~

I have listed these little treasures in my 2nd Etsy shop~
The frames add so much character to the little purple illustrations!

This collection truly reminds me of the tall weathered fence we pass by
with gorgeous Lilacs draping over like a waterfall.

Wee little pencil nubs kept in enamelware cups.
Some of the colors are not longer being manufactured.
I have a pencil extender that comes in handy!
(Not sure why the little pipe is stuck in the cup!?)

Always fun to add bits n' pieces from around the studio to my paintings~

My wee little studio is the perfect sun-kissed room to paint in~

Thank you for so many wonderful comments!
How you make my heart smile~
Do hope these pretties bring you joy!

Such blissful lilacs!
Thank you for visiting my blog about NY (Long Island).
Have you tried hammering pansies to make prints?

I was happy when you stopped by and left me a comment...........and I was even more thrilled when I came to your blog and found my favorite little bird displayed on your header! What a spectacular painting. I'm so in love with wrens - here we have the Carolina wren - and they have been making my porch, garden and window box their home for many years.

Michelle, your art is truly beautiful - you are so creative. I love everything and will be back often to visit.

Have a wonderful day.
