We had a fun time as a family on Valentine's Day...
By late afternoon I was wanting to get into
some sort of project that could be done in front
of a nice, relaxing movie...with WARM looking settings!
We had a fun time as a family on Valentine's Day...
By late afternoon I was wanting to get into
some sort of project that could be done in front
of a nice, relaxing movie...with WARM looking settings!
I've managed to put everything away & get these
fun keepsake journals put into my Etsy shop!
My pup's hair wasn't the only thing flying around here~
Paper scraps, punches...stamps...glue...ribbons!
To share a few pictures with you...
Each of the journals have 40 pages (80 writing surfaces!)
I LOVE to write around things...have little
nooks n' crannies to tuck small quotes in!
They took a bit to make...if they don't sell quickly~
they just might end up as Palmer family heirlooms...
covered with sketches, ideas, stories & critter news!
:)
Hope your week is off to a great start!
Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit~
Michelle

Oh my goodness. I love them all. Who could choose?
I do want to know how you watched movies while making such lovely journals. This brain can only do one thing at a time anymore. ;-)
These are gorgeous!! You put way too much work into each of them! Tell me what a moleskine journal is. I looked it up but the site didn't really clarify. Were the originals made out of "mole's skin"? Why are they so desirable to artists?
Just beautiful!!! You did such an outstanding job. Laurie
I love journals of any kind. Yours are really beautiful and so sweet. I just bought a Zutter book binder so I could make them. I just want to make them and either sell them or give them to friends to decortate the insides. I don't work with the usual scrapbooking supplies, I just paint....LOL. I thought I would paint the fronts to match the inside papers I choose. I love your clothspin dangle too....it is so cute.
Hugs, Marcia
Oh my but you had fun! I love them!

ps..i'm looking for some heavy envelopes that close with the waxed thread...any suggestions? I thought you might know..I'm also in need of small brown paper sandwich bags..:)Thanks so much
Lovely journals! I spent movie night untangling a huge wad of old lace. What a mess, but the movie made it less frustrating to deal with. Thanks for visiting my post and hope to keep in touch! M.
Michelle, these are fantastic. Much luck in sales is wished you!
Hugs! Diane
These are truly beautiful. I love them all. It sounds like a perfect Valentine's Day : )

Hi Michelle~ thanks so much for stopping by my blog so that I could follow you to yours. What a talented lady you are! I absolutely love your watercolor paintings, they are gorgeous.
And your new journals are so sweet. Twelve movie lengths well spent!
I"m off to peek at your Etsy shop, and add you to my blog list.
Thanks so much for all your sweet comments! I love to design each page to tell a little story~
Moleskine...Holly, I'm not sure what draws most artists to them, but I like the smooth tooth/texture to the paper. I can write for a while & not have a sore wrist...very nice quality, good stitching etc. :)
Doreen...ULine is a packaging company. Maybe try them. They have a web site, I've been very pleased with their products.
Lace! That would have been fun to discover through a movie, too~ :)
Wishing you all the best! Michelle
I love each and every journal! : )
So very nice! I love your work.
These are fabulous. Great use of your movie-watching time I'd say. :-)(I'm currently playing with my copious and neglected bead collection).
What a gorgeous set of Journals. I loved seeing all the different pages and designs you have created. Very inspiring, thank you for posting them.
My daughter bought me a tin of butterfly stamps, I might just get them out right now and have some fun.
