Giveaway time!

With so many technical gadgets it is much easier to capture moments and
store them on a disk, memory card... digital file~
Sweet memories that bring us joy!

Some moments are remembered only in our hearts~
There is no photographic record of it...
No way to prove it existed or ever happened.
The heart never forgets!

I will never forget moments with my dad.
He & I only had 12 years together... but the moments we shared are
collected and written on my heart.

For your chance to win this original pen & ink on fabric,
Please leave a comment on this post!
If you would like, share a favorite memory you have collected or
a favorite way of preserving your memories!

One name will be "pulled from the hat" Monday, August 19!

Hope you have a weekend filled with wonderful memories!

So sweet! I remember walking in the forest with my grandfather. We had our dog with us and he knew all the plants.

I was sitting in bed with my Dad and he was teaching me how to whistle. I did a really loud whistle and my mum said she had heard it from the garden.
It's my favourite and first Dad memory.
Although I've never been able to whistle since.

Мишель, у меня с отцом было чуть больше времени - 21 год, но этого мало. Остались хорошие и добрые воспоминания.
Спасибо за ностальгический пост. Играю в лотерею!

Oh Michelle this is simply beautiful. I have so many really happy memories of times spent with my father but one very special one is that when my dad went anywhere he would bring me back a little note book and pencil.....I would then spend many happy hours spent sitting on the wall at the front of our house recording car reg numbers...simple needs back then eh? :-)
Hugs,

Michelle, I absolutely adore your drawings and you also have a very good way with words, evoking emotions in myself. My father only has weeks to live and I agree ~~all those wonderful memories will always be with me.

Such a sweet image! My favourite `memory`really isn`t one that I actually was old enough to remember, but I`ve been told so many times and now I actually feel as though I do. My dad was a farmer and he would take me as a tiny baby on the tractor with him. He`d drive with one hand and I was cradled in the other arm. I apparently was totally content and much preferred to be with him than in house with my mother. Daddy`s girl, obviously!

Such a sweet drawing!! It reminds me of how I would snuggle up close to my dad when he sang with his group. He loved to sing and was quite accomplished. I can remember him holding me while he sang (I was a small child)...those are very precious memories!! He's been gone 17 years...

Please add me to the hat filled with your other sweet posts from special followers. One thing that I have as a reminder of a special memory is a silhouette of my Lovely when she was about 4 years old. Those long eyelashes and upturned nose remind of the sweet little girl she was all those years ago. Now a high school graduate, the facial features have changed into those of a young lady. I'm so thankful for the silhouette to remind of sweet time gone by.
