American Goldfinch


I love when the American Goldfinch begin to change
from warm gray~ gray-green to BRILLIANT yellow!
A sure sign that Spring has arrived~

    I agree with you Michelle. I love watching the transformation from "winter" colors to the glorious yellow of Spring and Summer. You capture it perfectly! We just hung an orange flavored suet block yesterday and the woodpeckers are loving it. Love those birdies!
