Much of this week was spent trying to get
our daughter perked up. The kids had winter recess
the entire week...this was her 3rd of 4th round
of high fevers, head ache, dizziness...and all
the normal winter cold/flu distresses.
The first tests have come back negative~
so we know she doesn't have strep...
She's been sick since mid January,
Finally, yesterday they did blood work to look
into why she's not building her strength back.
Today she's up and around...
More like our sweet gal~
Hope these last two days are enough to
get her resistance back before jumping into
the germs first thing Monday morning.

Our son is one of the leads in the middle school
musical again this year...Into The Woods!
Tues. through Friday another mom & I
were painting sets...MANY of my "hidden muscles"
have let me know they are NOT ready
to come out of winter hibernation! :)
Some of the players would jump in & help
when they were not singing...some other
middle school students were doing a fantastic
job base coating...cleaning up!

A week filled with appointments, duties, illness,
balancing acts...play...laughter...smiles...joy...
ALL BLESSINGS~

We're hopeful this week will be more low key...
Wishing each of you the best!
Michelle

  4. DEAR MICHELLE,
I AM SO SORRY YOUR DAUGHTER HAS BEEN SO ILL...IT IS VERY ALARMING WHEN OUR CHILDREN DO NOT GET WELL RIGHT AWAY. SHE IS IN MY PRAYERS.
I WAS EXCITED TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR SON BEING IN INTO THE WOODS....MY SON WAS THE BIG BAD WOLF AND LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD WAS A BEAUTIFUL GIRL THAT HAD LONG RED CURLS....IT IS A FUN MUSICAL. RICHIES COSTUME HAD THE WOLFS HEAD AND EVERYTHING AND IT WAS QUITE HOT. IF I CAN GET TO THE BOX THEY ARE STORED IN I WILL MAIL YOU A PICTURE.........
I SOOOO MISS THAT PART OF THE KIDS BEING AT HOME.
YOUR NEW FELT BIRDS AND BEES ARE SO BEAUTIFUL.
I WAS JUST TONIGHT WAS ENCOURAGING 2 WOMEN ABOUT THE BUMBLE BEE.......
EVERYTIME I SEE A COLORFUL BUMBLE BEE FLY BY I SAY...THERE GOES A MIRACLE
IT IS IMPOSSIBE FOR SCIENCE TO PROVE.....IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR A BUMBLE BEE TO FLY BECAUSE ITS BODY IS TOO BIG FOR ITS WINGS....BUT YET WE KNOW IT FLIES.......I THINK THAT IS JUST AWESOME....AND THEN I COME OVER HERE TO LEAVE YOU A MESSAGE BEFORE I SHUT DOWN AND YOU HAVE A GOLD FINCH AND A BUMBLE BEE.
    BLESSINGS AND LOVE MY FRIEND

  5. Michelle,
Glad you got your package from me OK. I was going to send some other little things with it, and totally forgot!!

Love your birds, and how clever to use a strainer to house the nest in.
Thanks for helping me to think 'outside the box', so to speak. =0)
Guess you know I'll be searching in my primitive kitchen are at the store for what else i could use.

Blessings, and hope you enjoy your nest in a box, and hand made bird.

  6. Michelle,
Oh, I'm afraid I drooled all over your fat little chickies at your ETSY site! =0))

    And you felted some eggs!!
Clever, and nice you know how. I have a hard time finding the size eggs I need for projects.

Will you do any chickies I can put in my own nests?? Or maybe some eggs, separately?

    BJ
