Would this new lil' guy be so cute without them?
"Crinkle"
His tail was caught by a farmer's shoe...
In his attempt to escape~
His tail became stretched out,
far longer than a mouse tail can go!
The wee mouse got away,
stopped to catch his breath~
Checking himself all over...
he looked at his tail & it was all crinkled up!
:)
Crinkle was made from an old gray sweater
and two small pieces of gray felt.
Keep lookin' for whiskers~
I know you'll have a use for them someday!

He is darling. I have a thing for fictional mice- not the real ones that find their way into my house some winters, but the ones on paper- like Stuart Little and Despereaux. And Crinkle just wouldn't be complete without his whiskers. So cute!
ReplyDeleteFunny how cute they are when they aren't the real thing. Those little whiskers are pretty hard to resist.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Love the whiskers you put on him. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!

I have been thinking all day of making mice, and then I visit you!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful creations, Michelle!
Love, Debra
Crinkle is adorable! I am interested in that bowl that you see behind him, is that a special piece of Folk Art Pfaltzgraff? Twyla
